Arno Krijger, born on September 1, 1972, in Terneuzen, Netherlands, is a versatile organist known for his proficiency in jazz, as well as other genres like funk and pop music. He began performing at the young age of 14 at the jazz café Porgy & Bess in his hometown. Krijger’s formal music education culminated in 1998 with his graduation from the Conservatorium van Tilburg.
Over the years, Krijger has collaborated with various musical groups and artists, including Nostalgia by Nils Wogram, Lewinsky Quartet, Trio Toine Thys, Hammond Sandwich, and Nueva Manteca. He is particularly skilled in playing the Hammond organ along with a bass pedal, which allows him to express his emotions unreservedly through music, especially in the jazz genre.
